Responsibilities:
- Establish, oversee, and drive IT delivery plans, including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities, and quality, as defined in project management methodologies.
- Manage and coordinate project/program budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, change management, and status reporting to stakeholders and review boards.
- Oversee and manage technical interdependencies across project workstreams.
- Drive effective risk and issue management, ensuring processes are in place and proactively implemented.
- Ensure the project team meets organizational standards, including compliance, quality, and technical best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT deliverables with overall program objectives, ensuring visibility of RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and IT solution planning.
- Manage Scaled Agile portfolios and deliver capabilities using agile practices while adhering to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Optimize project team performance by identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring prioritization and commitment for sprints or milestones.
- Serve as a mentor to team members, guiding Agile/Scrum practices to enhance team readiness and effectiveness.
- Partner with business and product owners to communicate project deliverables and escalate key risks or impediments.
- Execute consulting engagements in a global delivery model, collaborating across regions to meet client expectations.
- Prepare project documentation, including project charters, risk logs, progress updates, and status reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Contribute to organizational growth by developing new capabilities, driving process improvements, and participating in thought leadership initiatives.
Required Skills:
- A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA); PMP or Scrum Master certification is highly preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record in leading IT and Utilities projects.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with project planning tools and software to create, manage, and track project results.
- Experience in SDLC frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with at least 2+ years running Agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvements.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to manage cross-functional matrixed teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey project plans, risks, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, resolve conflicts, and implement scalable project processes.
- Experience working with international clients and distributed teams is a bonus.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
- Hands-on experience with utilities-specific solutions (e.g., Oracle Utilities, SAP IS-U, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Meter Data Management (MDM), Asset Management, or Field Service solutions is a plus.
