JOB TITLE: Power BI Architect
We are seeking a PowerBI Architect with deep diverse technical experience who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive Power BI solutions by creating data models, reports, and dashboards, ensuring they align with business needs, while also overseeing the overall architecture and integration of Power BI with existing data infrastructure, often working closely with data engineers and data scientists to optimize data flow and analysis capabilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact closely with Business Analysis team, ETL team to ensure understanding of proper use of data architecture.
- Analyze requirements to create technical designs, data models and migration strategies
- Collaborate with technology stakeholders to define and implement actionable metrics, KPIs and data visualizations
- Lead technical design and implementation of dashboards and reporting capabilities
- Lead technical design for implementing solution with Power BI Report server.
- Implement data quality, data integrity, and data standardization efforts across products and databases enabling key business processes and applications
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Business Requirement: Understanding of Business and data requirements in complex environments.
- Proficient in Power BI: 8 to 10 years of experience as a Power BI Architect or Designer.
- Power BI Report Server: Experience working with Power BI Report Server for On-premises solution.
- Data Model and Design: Develop robust data models using Power Query, including data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation, to ensure accurate and efficient analysis
- Visualizations and Reporting: Create compelling and interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI’s visualization tools to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Architecture Planning: Design the overall Power BI architecture, considering data sources, data gateways, data refresh schedules, and security measures.
- DAX Expertise: Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create advanced calculations and metrics within Power BI
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize Power BI queries and reports to maintain fast response times and scalability.
