Summary:
We are looking for a Data Visualization Expert with a keen eye for UX design to join our Impresa Product Development vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating compelling and intuitive data visualizations that enhance user experience and support data-driven decision-making. The Data Visualization Expert will be responsible for creating visual assets such as illustrations, typography, color schemes, and other graphical elements that contribute to the overall look and feel of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Data Visualizations: Create interactive and visually appealing data visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights to users.
- Enhance User Experience: Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that data visualizations integrate seamlessly with overall user experience design.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.
- Prototype and Test: Develop prototypes of data visualizations and conduct usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
- Implement Best Practices: Ensure adherence to best practices in data visualization and UX design, including accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and UX design.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of total experience in UX, 3+ years’ experience in data visualization.
- Graphic Design: Proficiency in graphic design principles such as layout, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Typography: Knowledge of typography and its application in design for readability and aesthetics.
- Digital design: Ability to create digital assets for websites, social media, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Technical Skills: Experience with UX design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, InDesign,Figma, Canva.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into user-friendly visual representations.
- Design Skills: Strong understanding of UX principles and the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that enhance user engagement.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
